How To Use
Open your pen rod by taking off the cap, simply insert the reel between the two grooves on the pen, and twist the screw down to tighten the reel onto the rod.

It is better than expected. Fits perfectly in my tackle bag. Besides the size, you wouldn't know there was anything different when compared to a regular pole and reel.
The reel that came with this pen is the best quality I've seen out of all the pen fishing poles I've owned. Very smooth casting. As with all compact poles, be gentle when collapsing the rod.
It’s somehow bigger *and* smaller than I imagined. This thing telescopes forever! The pen/handle is a little slick, but I’ve wrapped it in gaffer’s tape. The action on the reel is smooth, and it get’s the job done for “just hiking down the trail - HEY, THERE’S A POND!”
This is a really good pen rod, the best thing is the real how it doesnt break and can actually cast far, I use it for saltwater pan fishing for spot or mojarra, only think thats a drawback is the last part, sometimes doesnt slide in that far
Quick shipping, items as described. One of the eyelets came unglued but I just superglued it back on. The reel is very nice for being so tiny and you can still get a fair amount of line on it. It folds down so small. Very pleased with purchase.
Have yet to use it but I was impressed with the quality of such a compact rod and reel. Anyone who is a fan of fishing would love this item as a gift.

This is a awesome rod. The package came in early than expected. I took it out fishing on the first day. I caught a few bluegills and baby bass. Some of the fishing lines got tingle up but that a common thing. Overall very good rod.

It came quickly! Great product for the money. Very compact and light weight. One of the guides did pop loose from the fiberglass, but was easy to fix with super glue. This is not a professional grade fishing rod, but that’s not what I was expecting for this price. Very satisfied with this purchase.
